Due to a disease of our drummer Richard
Klösch the band has been forced to cancel
their show at Metal Invasion Chapter III in Ruhstorf, Germany!
We are really sorry for this but there was really no chance
for us to save the show! We want to express our appologies
to the fans and the festival organizer Alex for this short-termed cancellation and we all hope to catch
up our show at the next year's edition!

A new show has been confirmed and so DARKFALL are going to thrash on a benefit show for the re-building
of youth centre EXPLOSIV in Graz, Austria! The show will happen on the 10th of June
2009 at Forum Stadtpark in Graz and our friends from PERISHING
MANKIND and THE CRIMSON will also
be a part of this crucial happening! Just be there and support
the venue which has always supported the Austrian Metal
Scene throughout the last years!!!

After 10 years of passion, blood and sweat our
bass player Christian Kayer decided to
leave the band and has been replaced by Martin Klement - a young talent from Leibnitz, Styria - in the beginning
of May 2009! We all want to wish Christian all the best for his future and we also want to thank him
for all he has done for the band in the past! Of course
we also want you to read his final words for DARKFALL and the fans:
During these last 10 years I have reached all my aims I
personally set up for DARKFALL and so I had to come to the
decision to leave the band and to make room for a new and
motivated bass player who will be able to forward the band
to the next level. It was a wonderful and emotional time
within this band and I hope that DARKFALL will go on straight
to the top and of course I want to thank all the bands we
have played with and all the fans for their great support
and all the fun we have set up together! Keep on rocking,
headbanging and beer drinking! Yeah! Thanx for all and DARKFALL
forever! Chri
Good luck brother, thanx for all, stay sick and stay Metal!!!
But of course the show has to go on too and so the first
shows with Martin have been played and
it was an amazing welcome for him and of course for the
whole band! We just want to thank all of you and we are

Due to a disease of guitarist Markus Seethaler DARKFALL have been forced to cancel their
show in Gleisdorf very short-termed! We are very sorry for
this and all our excuses go to the fans and the local promoters!
We hope that we will be able to catch up the show in Gleisdorf

show cancellations very soon too!

Our first European tour is finally history and
we want to thank everyone involved for making all these
things happen and we want to hail the guys from Catapult
Promotion, Prosperity Denied, Parsifall and Return to Innocence
and especially of course all the metalfans which decided
to be a part of this tour! Thank you for turning out with
us, you fucking rule!!!
But deadlock means regress and so we have to look forward
and after a couple of shows which are going to be confirmed
very soon we will take a short break from playing live to
go on with some new material and we all hope that we will
be back on stages with some new stuff very soon! Meanwhile
we will keep you informed about our upcoming shows in the
tour menue! The first show after the tour will happen in
Wolfsberg, Austria with bands like Excrementory Grindfuckers

We have to inform you that our appearance on 100%
Underground Festival in Innsbruck on the 11th of October
2008 has been cancelled due to our show in Innsbruck on
the 23th of October 2008 during our upcoming tour! Instead
of this cancelled show DARKFALL are going
to play in Kapfenberg, Volksheim with bands like Heathen
Foray and Vinegar
Hill.

Unfortunately we have to inform you that DARKFALL have been forced to cancel their upcoming shows in Leoben
(19.09.) and St. Pölten (20.09.) both in Austria due
to a bad accident at work which happened to our guitar player Alfred Hollerer! We are very sorry for
these cancelations but we have decided not to play only
as a four-piece because all included parties like organisators,
press and of course the fans would not get the best available
DARKFALL performance!
We have been informed that we will get the change to play
at STP Metalweekend in St. Pölten next year in 2009
and we also hope to catch up the show in Leoben too very
soon! The upcoming shows in Lienz and Innsbruck and of course
our European tour will not be affected by this case of injury!!!

Very short-termed we have to inform you that our
show on Undead
Festival has been cancelled by the festival organisation
due to some problems out of our and their responsibilities!
Here is the organiser's original statement regarding the
cancellation:
[... Unfortunetly the owners of the
whole factory - where the venue take a place - informed
us that it was some electric problem on the last months
and they start to repair it on next saturday, and it will
be out of electrocity in the whole factory area, so because
of this we must cancel the second day of the fest and your
show too! Sorry to tell this this but I cant do anything...]
Sorry for that but there really was no change to save this
show but we hope that we will be able to return to Hungary
as soon as possible!

The first step to a new era has been done!
Some weeks ago Markus Seethaler (Ex-Djeelesfar
Cry, Ex-Lazy Left Down) has joined
the squad of DARKFALL as the first of two

concert with DARKFALL on the Celtic
Metal Festival in Hallein (AUT) and furthermore

are now concentrating all our activities to re-build our
line up and to get ready to re-enter the European stages
again. In the near future we will announce our new band

some bad news too and so we have to inform you that our
two guitar players Sascha Pick and Stephan
Ritz won't be a part of DARKFALL
anymore. However the remaining members of DARKFALL
want to express their thanx and hails for the last two years
of metal madness and want them all the best for their future
plans!

accident and the short-termed cancellation of our last show
we can inform you that DARKFALL are able
to play their upcoming show in Weiz on the 25th of November.

Due to a unlucky accident and a resulted serious
injury of vocalist Thomas Spiwak DARKFALL
were forced to cancel their show on the 3rd of November
2006 in Graz very short-termed, only just a few hours before
show start.
Here the band's statement:
"We are really sorry for this short-termed cancellation
but there was no chance to secure our appearance that day.
We just want to express our apologies to all the fans which
were out there to see us on stage and we can only inform
you that Thomas is trying everything to
get back on stages on the 25th of November 2006 again. So
please watch out for some news in the next days. Thanx for
you understanding! DARKFALL."

Salzburg (Halloween Metal Festival) and Graz (Bloodworks
Festival) with Bands like Belphegor, Casketgarden and Sanatorium
we want to express our thanx to all the fans which have

all the organisation crews. You fucking rule!

A new concert has been confirmed and so
DARKFALL will thrash the stages in the
Styrian capital Graz two times within a week. We are going
to play at the venue Explosiv

released in "Obersteirische Nachrichten" have

Due to a serious injury of vocalist Thomas
Spiwak the band has been forced to cancel their
upcoming shows in Czech Republic. We are really sorry for
this but there is no other way than to cancel these shows
and we hope that the organisers are able to find some other
dates to let us return to Czech Republic.
Beneath these fucking bad news we can announce that a new
show has been confirmed and so DARKFALL
will play on the "Fest
der Pfosten" in Weiz (AUT) in November 2006.
We also have updated our German history and our review section
with some new reviews done by Heavy
Magazine and Metal
Message Webzine both from Germany.

the club season with some dates in Austria, Czech Republic

Back from the Queens of Metal Open Air (GER) DARKFALL
wants to express their hails to the festival organisation
and crew which have done a great job. Some photos of DARKFALL's
show will be online soon. Furthermore DARKFALL
received a consent for an appearance on Undead Festival
(HUN) in 2007 after DARKFALL had to cancel
their show in 2006 due to some problems at the Hungerian
border. Beside this DARKFALL are still
going to play two more festival shows on the Zabbaduschder
Open Air (21.07. in Urbach, GER) and Metal Camp (23.07.
in Tolmin, SLO).

Due to some serious problems at the Hungarian border
with the Hungarian border officers DARKFALL
were forced to cancel their show on Undead Festival
in Budapest. Unfortunately the band wasn't allowed to cross
the border on their playing day and so it was impossible
to play the confirmed show there. DARKFALL
wants to express their appologies to the festival organisation
and of course to all Hungarian Metal heads! Maybe the band
and the festival organisation can arrange that DARKFALL
will make up their show on Undead Festival in
2007.

Due to the re-outbreak of Sascha Pick's
hand injury DARKFALL are forced to play
the upcoming shows in Rosenheim (GER) and Budapest (HUN)
as a four piece only. Nevertheless DARKFALL
will be out to kick some fucking asses!

Management for all booking, promotion and management

Back from two great festivals in Czech Republic
(Metal Swamp) and Germany (Walpurgis Metal Days) we want
to express our thanx to the organisators of these events

is recovered from his injury and still joined us on our
last show in Germany again. So we're prepared for the festival

It`s done! DARKFALL's new release "Phoenix rising"
is out now and can be ordered through this website. Furthermore
the new shirts are also available and because of the release
of the new MCD "Phoenix rising" the website design
has also totally relaunched.

Some new details like playing day, other
bands, etc. about DARKFALL's summer festival appearances
have been added to the tour section and by the way a new
show has been confirmed. So DARKFALL ae going to play on
Metal Zone Kaltenbach Pt. 2 in Vienna, Escape on the 13th
of May and will use that date for a second release party
for "Phoenix rising" in Austria. For further details
please have a look to the tour section.
Furthermore DARKFALL will start the studio
recordings for "Phoenix rising" on Monday the
13th of March and the recordings will last until Sunday
the 19th of March. So the release party for "Phoenix
rising" on the 7th of April in Graz, Explosiv should
be saved. Don't miss that date!!!

A new date is confirmed! So DARKFALL will celebrate the
release party of their upcoming MCD "Phoenix rising"
in their hometown Graz on the 7th of April with bands like
CREMATION, OUTRAGE and local support. For more details please

Back from Bratislava, Slovakia DARKFALL wants to express
their thanx to the organisers, especially Eric for putting
everything right there, and of course all the Metal heads
which kept banging until the end and welcomed our new song
"Phoenix rising" with such great reactions.
By the way DARKFALL is looking forward to return to European
stages in early 2006 with their upcoming release and to
ensure that DARKFALL now will focus their activities on
composing new songs and finsihing all works as soon as possible.

Back from Ridanna, Italy we really want to express our thanx
to the organisers and the fantastic fans out there in South
Tyrol. It was a totally crazy show and we're really looking
forward to return to this outstanding location.
Back to the future a new show in Bratilslava, Slovakia is
confirmed on the 9th of December 2005 and so DARKFALL will
continue their ride over Europe.

thanx to the fans, organisation crew and especially to the
waitress at the Pub Fantomas for mixing us such glorious

Finally it's done. Our new guitar player Stephan Ritz has
celebrated his live baptism in Schweinfurt, Germany. Thanx
to the organisers and crowd for that endless blasting night
and all at the aftershow party in the "Rockfabrik Schweinfurt"
- keep on drinking fucking Tequila. By the way some live
and backstage photos of this show will be online very soon.
Of course DARKFALL will continue playing more live shows
outside Austria and so a new date in Ridanna/Ridnaun, Italy
is confirmed. Hopefully some more dates in Czech Republic
and Slovakia will also be confirmed in a few days.

A new date is confirmed. So DARKFALL is going to play in
Slovenji Gradec, Slovenia on the 29th of October 2005. For
more details please have a look on our Tour section. More
shows in Slovenia will follow in the beginning of 2006.
By the way we're still working on some gigs in Czech Republic
and Slovakia. So watch out!

A new date is confirmed, so DARKFALL is going to play in
Schweinfurt, Germany on the 15th of October 2005. For more

Finally it's done! DARKFALL is proud to present a new guitarist
named Stephan Ritz, a young talent from Styria, which will
celebrate his baptism of fire at our upcoming shows in Slovenia,
Czech Republic and Slovakia in autumn 2005. More details
will be announced soon.
Beside this very good news we also want
to inform you that some new information about DARKFALL are
now available. So a lot of new MP3s, reviews, banners and
logos are now online and new band pictures and new live
photos from our festival shows will also be online soon.

First of all a big fucking hail to all our friends and fans
for their great support during the last festivals and shows.
That's the way of true fucking Metal! See ya again!!!
Unfortunately we also have to inform you
that our lead guitarist Thomas Stock decided to leave the
band due to some personal reasons and that his stage appearances
on Kaltenbach Open Air were his last shows for DARKFALL
and also his second band CREMATION. Of course his decision
is a real shock for us and it happened at a very bad term
for us but nevertheless we want to thank him for the last
months of heavy drinking and great shows throughout Europe
and we wish you all the best for future.
Regarding this bad news we also want to
inform that we're now searching for a new guitarist and
if you're interested to join DARKFALL please feel free to
contact us at Darkfall@gmx.at
By the way during the next few weeks we'll
